Writer's Block: The Beatles

In their heyday, The Beatles were the center of the pop universe. Many groups have been hailed as the next Beatles, but does pop music even have a center anymore? Who represents the core of pop music to you?

The Beatles are still and will always be the center of the pop universe. Without their influence, pop music wouldn't be the same. There are so many bands out that are inspired by The Beatles. Their music will never die.

My time in Wisconsin has been filled with me mostly watching only new movies that I haven't had to pleasure of watching thus far. Now that my time here is almost finished, I think I should post my reviews on these movies. Hope they are of some service to you all (and don't mind my talking in such a weird manner, I just finished watching an movie set in Shakespearean time, and I can't seem to shake it at this present moment).

Dec. 12th
-- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: B ; I never wanted to watch this because 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' is one of my all-time favourite movies, but I'm glad that I finally did. It was surprisingly very good. Johnny Depp played crazy well, and he was funny while doing it. I laughed an awful lot.
-- Mr. and Mrs. Smith: B- ; Action movies aren't my cup of tea, so I'm being generous with my rating. The only thing good I can say about this movie, is that Brad and Anglina make a good team.
-- In Her Shoe: C+ ; I was rather disappointed in this movie; I thought it would have been better. I love Cameron, but she didn' do very good acting in it.
-- All the Right Moves: D+ ; God, I hate Tom Cruise movies, but my brother wanted to watch it. His voice is so damn annoing. Why do people like him?! He isn't even any good at acting.

Dec. 13th
-- Madagascar: B- ; That marks one of the Ben Stiler movies off of my 'To Watch' list. It wasn't as funny as I hoped it would be.
-- Dirty Deeds: A- ; YAY! Milo Ventimiglia <3 My 3rd love, whom I've had a few very nice dreams about. I'm so buying this movie.
-- Pride & Prejudice: B+ ; Yes, I finally watched that movie... it took me long enough. When I got halfway through the movie, I was already thinking in a British accent. Keira Knightly was amazing in it, but I couldn't help but wonder who would actually find Mr. Darcey handsome? And that Mr. Collins guy annoyed the crap out of me; he was far too short. Everytime the said 'ball' I thought they were saying 'bull', and I kept wondering why they needed to buy ribbon for a ball... it angered me.
-- The Perfect Man: B+ ; Why I chose to watch a Hilary Duff movie is beyond me, but Jenny told me that it was good... and that it was.
-- The Ring Two: C ; I don't know what to say about this...

Dec. 14th
-- Racing Stripes: C+ ; It was okay, but not good.
-- Monster in Law: B- ; I never thought that Jennifer Lopez was any good at acting... and my opinion on that matter has still not changed. The only reason that I like this movie is because the other people that acted in it. At least they are good at what they do. JLo needs to stick to singing.
-- Must Love Dogs: B- ; Fair. There was nothing special about it.
-- Cry Wolf: B+ ; First, I have to say that I usualy don't like many horror movies, because I think that they try way too hard... but this one was very good, not to mention that Julian Morris looked really good in it. I'm going to buy.
-- Spanglish: B- ; Adam Sandler is much better playing a more comedic part, but the movie was still good.
-- Red Eye: C- ; I can't even say how disappointed I am in this movie. I thought that with Rachel McAdams in it, that it would be good, but it wasn't.
-- Fantastic Four: B+ ; It shocks me that I've watched so many movies that I really want to buy, like this one for instance. It was very good, even if it was a bit off from the comics.

Dec. 15th
-- Million Dollar Baby: B ; The ending was so sad =(
-- The Hazing: D- ; That was some truelly awful acting. I am never watching that movie ever again, and I recommend that you all DO NOT waste your time watching it.
-- Mean Creek: C+ ; Hearing Josh Peck swear up a storm is very disturbing, but I've watched this movie before.
-- Supercross: The Movie: C ; With it having Mike Vogel, Channing Tatum, and Sophia Bush in it, I thought it would be better. I definitely liked Motocrossed (yes, the Disney movie) much better.
-- Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous: B- ; Simple... the first one was better.
-- The Island: B ; Eh, no comment.

Dec. 16th
-- Brokeback Mountian: B- ; It was sad. I cried at the VERY ending.
-- Fantastic Four: B+ ; Haha. Yes, I had to watch it again.
-- Santa Baby: B- ; Why do I watch so many Christmas movies? It was okay.
-- The Dukes of Hazzard: D ; The bloopers were the only part in the whole movie.
-- Christmas Do-Over: B- ; It made me laugh, which was a good thing after being tortured through The Dukes of Hazzard.

Dec. 17th
-- Roll Bounce: C ; It was okay, but rather annoying. Especially since Bow Wow looked sick through most of the movie.
-- Sabrina the Teenage Witch: C ; Yes, the movie. I like the series better, because the have better actor/actresses playing the parts.
-- Fascination: B ; The guy from Coyote Ugly is in it... Adam Garcia. It inspired me to write a new fic... and I am so buying it.

Dec. 18th
-- White Noise: C- ; Wow... that was bad.

Dec. 19th
-- The Transporter 2: B- ; I am so glad that this one didn't suck. I loved the first one.
-- King Kong: C+ ; It wasn't very good. I didn't like Jack Black in it at all, and they needed to show more of Colin Hanks.
-- Recipe for a Perfect Christmas: B- ; It was okay... nothing special. Just another Christmas movie.
-- Kicking & Screaming: C ; Not funny. I don't know why I even watched it.

Dec. 20th
-- Stage Beauty: B+ ; Totally going to buy this one, possibly even before all the rest of the movies that I want to buy. Billy Crudup (Who played Mr. Kingston) looked very good in that movie, that is when he wasn't dressed up like a woman. Plus, I love Claire Danes; I think that she's a great actress. And I always seem to love movies that are set back in the Shakespearean time (like the fact that Shakespeare in Love is one of my favourite movies).

Him NOT dressed like a woman in Stage Beauty

-- The Eye 2: ? ; I'm only listening to it, because it's currently playing in the other room... but seeing that it's in Japanese, I really have no clue what they are saying. I will have to watch it again at a later time.

Sorry, but this LJ is friends only. Please comment before adding. And I would really appreciate you telling me who you are in the comment. Lol. Thank you.
